how i work

There is no fixed way this work unfolds - a multi modal approach

I don't work from a set structure or sequence

Sometimes we flow.
Sometimes we listen + hold.
Sometimes the work is deep, focused + intense.
Sometimes it becomes dynamic + movement-based.

Sometimes you're completely receiving… Other times you're an active participant in the work.

Sometimes you hang off the table. Sometimes you're seated, sometimes you lay.
Sometimes with oil, sometimes without.

The approach changes according to your body, your intention + what is present on the day.

Share where you are at, and trust the work to unfold from there.

Behind the work

Meet Heidi, an integrative bodyworker + somatic movement guide.

I’m interested in the in~between.
The space between tension + ease, movement + stillness, sensation + perception, structure + experience.

The places that aren't always obvious, but can be felt.

This work is grounded in the understanding that the body is continually shaped by experience, environment, movement + relationship.

How we move, breathe, hold tension, orient ourselves and respond to sensation is a reflection of how we sense + perceive the world.

My practice brings together bodywork, movement, breath + sensory awareness, creating space to explore the body as an interconnected, changing system.

My path into this work began through loss + grief, + physical pain. Out of this, Love From Me was born , a practice grounded in curiosity, connection + a deepening relationship with the body.

I see the body not as something to fix or correct, but as something to listen to, observe, explore + develop a relationship with. From this relationship, change can emerge.

This work may meet you as a single session, or become something you return to over time, an ongoing process of unwinding, unravelling + embodying yourself.

Love From Me, To You.

THE HEART OF MY WORK

Rooted in Therapeutic Intimacy

𖦹 Blend of modalities

Each session is an intuitive weaving of practices, learnings, ancient traditions, and wisdom. There are no fixed sequences, only attunement to your body’s story.

𖦹 consent + boundaries

This is a safe space for you to feel empowered to speak your truth + your boundaries.

𖦹 Listening

To initial dialogue, the bodies dialogue of subtle gestures, and first touch to session flow ~ sometimes listening during a session may mean being with an area with stillness.

𖦹 SPACE + INTENTION

Drawn into. I don’t hold space; we become the space together. The guide for each session with presence.

𖦹 Silence

Quietude is honoured. Words arise only for initial dialogue, dropping in or sound of release, this space is not for casual connection, small talk, or getting to know me. I like to suggest that after a session it is also quiet, perhaps a short share, whilst not attaching to stories.

𖦹 Organic, Low/No tox

All oils, herbs, balms, mists used are as clean as possible, low to no tox, biodynamic where possible or organic. Heidi uses certified organic coconut oil, castor oil, in most sessions as well as essential oils.

This mentorship is less about learning a method, and more about developing your own way of sensing, feeling, seeing, thinking and working with both your own body and another.

As you become more attuned to your own body, movement, breath and patterns, your capacity to listen through touch naturally deepens. The body becomes less something to fix, and more something to enter into relationship with.

Rather than teaching you what to do, this mentorship invites you to cultivate presence, curiosity and discernment, qualities that allow you to respond to the uniqueness of every body you meet.
