I bought these affirmation cards for my beautiful niece Elyssa who is 8. Her & I love to use them when we get together. We shuffle, spread and read the cards out loud to each other and its a very special bonding time for us. Elly loves the cute friendly animals that are on each card, I think this helps connect her to each card. One is even named Elly! :) I love knowing that positive, safe and worthy messages are going in to her subconscious. It is very reassuring! It’s hard to find time alone with Caja. The boys just need more at this age. They can’t even wipe their butts yet ! Or walk 3foot to get their drink bottle it would seem.
But each sunday evening, Caja and I have started to pick out a @lovefrommeco affirmation card to set her up for the week with some positivity. Actually we ended up picking two last week and this week because she really likes them. It’s actually been really good to use to open up conversations about things going on at school, with friends or even the media. The conversations have gone off in all sorts of ways I never expected and it’s been really lovely just setting that time aside for her and I to do something with a purpose.
One of today’s cards was about loving yourself and I asked what she loved about herself. Straight away - “height and hair”. But after we chatted some more it became “being a loyal friend and good at maths” we talked more about loyalty (not so much about maths)
And after she clipped them to her mirror to say each morning before she goes to school.

I bought my cards after my daughter received some for her birthday, she and my grandsons aged four and five love them and have incorporated them into their nightly quiet time ritual. The moment the parcel arrived, it was pink and everything was pink; the bubble wrap and sticky tape. My 3 girls loved them instantly. We went through the cards and I alone when they were asleep. I have a 5, 6 and 13yr old girls and, these cards relate and are enjoyable for all 3. So much meaning and love has gone into these and, it is meaningful. They are empowering! If only I had these when I was younger... They would of had an impact on my life. Im grateful these are in my daughters life today. I believe every child should have them.
